Liturgical Worship

Central to our faith is joining in worship and the celebration of Holy Communion. Use of the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer provides the framework for a complete and meaningful community experience.   


In the tradition of the Episcopal Church, which is a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion, our worship is liturgical and participatory, with the Book of Common Prayer serving as our guide for community and individual worship. Through the celebration of Holy Communion and other sacraments  that are “outward and visible signs of inward and spiritual grace,” we experience God and strengthen our wills for doing the loving work of God in the world. 

Receiving Holy Communion

All baptized Christians are welcome to receive Holy Communion at the altar rail.


You may take your Communion by receiving both bread and wine. If you choose to receive only bread, cross your arms upon your chest (x). If you wish to receive the wine, you may do so either by drinking from the cup or by dipping the wafer in the wine. If you prefer the latter, simply dip the wafer into the chalice yourself. If you prefer to drink from the cup, the chalice bearer will serve you.
